Huggies

Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers are jumping into the bandwagon of companies going green.  The press release says that the diaper is more environmentally-friendly because is includes 20% recycled materials and other natural materials.  It has organic cotton, aloe vera and Vitamin E.  Walmart is giving out free samples so I tried one of them on my dear daughter who’s turning 6 months this month. From the basi time I touched my hand on the diaper, I may tell the big divergence among this diaper and the standard diapers from Huggies.  It feels softer and it doesn’t have fragrance.  I had my daughter wear it for the whole night to check if it lives up to it is promise of more leakage protection. I was amazed that the whole night, my daughter didn’t wake up because of leak.  I checked the diaper the next day and even if there’s a large total of liquid in it, I didn’t see any leak.

The part that touches my baby’s butt is very dry.  Even if I didn’t modify her diaper the whole night, she didn’t get rashes because the inside share of the diaper remained dry. It is a finelooking good diaper.  Even if the regular price is a little bit higher than the original, I think I may move to this line of diapers because I heard that the disposable diapers that were thrown into the landfill will just be there and will not be decomposed for thousands of years to come.  And come to think of it, even if each diaper is a bit pricier, if I didn’t alter as much as I did, I would still be capable to save. I think Huggies has a good product in this diaper.  It combines the ease and security that the baby needs and the cost and environmental sustainability that parents are concerned with.

5Huggies vs Pampers
By Joe’sMom
Ahh, the uttermost controversy. I feel like I’ve graduated from college to adult when the hot topic with my friends has changed from ‘boxers vs briefs’ to ‘huggies vs pampers’.
