Safe, Comfortable Bedtime on the Go
The PeaPod P101 is a lightweight sleeping tent, which comes with an inflatable air mattress to keep your baby’s bedtime comfortable. An air pump is included. The mattress fits snugly inside the sleeping tent “pod,” which features a wraparound mesh canopy with a wide, zippered opening to give parents quick and easy access. Baby may nap in ease outdoors, thanks to the canopy’s UV shelter and to a wide windscreen. The pod likewise includes a washable sleeping bag that may double as a sleeping pad.

Awesome travel bed!

We purchased the littler sized peapod when my son was with regards to 5 months old. My husband and I travel a lot and we necessitated a travel bed that was lightweight, easy to set up, and safe for our child. This met all of our expectations.

When I purchased this item, I had seen the reviews when it comes to how difficult it could be to re-fold the peapod. So I went out to Kidco’s internetsite and found a very helpful document there on how to re-fold it. When the peapod arrived, I practiced opening and closing per Kidco’s instructions and it didn’t take long for me to be capable to figure it out and get it down without thinking when it comes to it. After that, any trip we went on it was a piece of cake folding it right back up and putting it back into it’s pouch.

One of the things I love regarding it is that it is lightweight and compact. I may pack it in our suitcase and still have room for everything else I need to take.

It’s also durable. Again, we travel a lot with our son (about once a month on average), and it has kept up over the last 2 and 1/2 years. No tears, rips, or anything (and it’s not like we’re tame with it).

Also, I found a technique that minimized the noise from zipping up the tent (holding my thumb and forefinger on the zipper teeth and zipper pull (where the zipper teeth have just closed as you pull the zipper). For whatsoever reason, that seems to dull the sound. Eventually my son got used to the sound of zipping up/down the tent and it no longer grabbed his attention. And now that he’s older, it’s a non-issue as I just put him in the tent, say goodnight, and close up the tent (he alternatively chooses it zipped up).

Oh, for the duration of that initial year once our son started to crawl, we oftentimes put the tent out for son to explore and play in a few days before heading off on a trip. That would support acquaint him with the tent again and make it an more comfortable adjustment for him once we went on the trip.

My son is ultimately getting too huge for the littler sized peapod, so we’re going to buy the Peapod Plus and retire the old one. We loved the old one so we hope we’ll love the new one, too.

Love it !!!!!

We love this! Seriously, if you have a baby, you need this! It’s lightweight, folds without apparent effort and our 9 month old sleeps in it, no problem. WAY less hassle than a pack ‘n’ play. It’s a cinch to fold- I don’t recognise what the other reviewers were complaining about. I am NOT a mechanically minded person, but I folded it up without apparent effort without even looking at the directions. It comes with a little pump to inflate the little mattress. That takes when it comes to two minutes. Pop open the tent, put the mattress in, cover it with the little blanket/pad, put the kid in, and zip it up. I may move the pod from room to room. She may sleep in our room, the computer room, the sewing room, etc. It’s likewise CUTE! My larger kids call it the “baby tent”, because it looks precisely like a tiny tent. We will be vacationing spacious next month and I’m looking forward to using this super product!

this is good product but small–the instructions say commended for up to one year, depending on your child’s development (we were not competent to find that data until we got the product). we sent it back and got the PeaPod Plus, which has been great and goes up to 5 years old.
